Our goal is to offer you the most assistance and flexibility in planning your golf rounds. In addition to a brief description of the golf course, we have listed the distance from the port, approximate taxi fare, yardage, Par, green fees and cart rental or pull trolley fees and contact information.

Golf Courses

Golf courses in selected ports of call are listed below; they are subject to availability of tee times when requested. Please contact the Tour Desk to set tee times and taxi transportation to the golf course. Please note all costs listed below are to be used as a guide, the tour desk will confirm rates for play and the cost of the taxi transfer on confirming the tee time. Payment will be made directly to the taxi driver for transfers and to the golf course, many courses will require a credit card number to guarantee the reservation. Please note cancellation fees will apply.

Independent Golf Arrangements

We recommend that you contact the courses you desire to play prior to leaving home to book your tee times or check course availability for the date you will be in that port. If pre-booking tee times, please remember to allow at least 1 hour if in addition to the transfer time to reach the course, allowing for ship’s clearance and debark procedures. If the ship is at anchor, additional time may be required. Please advise the Tour Staff as early as possible about your pre-arranged golf excursions in order that they may assist you in securing transfers to the course. RSSC does not hold tee times at any courses, but the Tour Staff can assist in booking tee times for you once on board subject to availability. Payments are made directly to the course. Please be aware that you may need local currency and encounter language difficulties if venturing independently. Be sure to allow sufficient time to return prior to ship’s sailing time

Golf Clubs and Handicaps

Please advise the Tour Staff at the time of making a golf reservation whether you would need to rent clubs or not. Club rental is not included in the cost of the golfing excursion and is subject to availability. For guests bringing their own golf clubs, they may be stored by the vessel on request and will be delivered to the gangway in ports where you register to play golf. Golf courses may require handicap certificates and it is suggested that you bring yours along with you. RSSC cannot accept any liability should a course impose handicap restrictions. There is a golf cage on board where you can practice your swing.
