Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 5, 2007 - Due to the continued rise of fuel costs around the world - to a degree that could not have been anticipated when pricing was set by the line - Regent Seven Seas Cruises will implement a cruise fuel surcharge of $7.50 per person per day for all 2008 bookings that are not paid in full by December 1, 2007. $7.50 per person per day for all 2008 bookings that are not paid in full by December 1, 2007. Original pricing for 2008 cruises allowed for an increase in fuel prices, but not nearly to the extent of current levels. The new surcharge will help offset some of the difference.
March 14, 2008 - 2009 Fuel
Surcharges
Due to the
unprecedented and continued rise of fuel
costs around the world - that could not
have been anticipated when pricing was
set - Regent Seven Seas Cruises will
implement a cruise ship fuel surcharge
on 2009 sailings.
The surcharge of $7.50 per person per
day will only be assessed on NEW
2009 bookings beginning April 1, 2008.
Any deposited 2009 booking prior to that
date will not be assessed the surcharge.
This allows you and your clients two
weeks to book and deposit a 2009 cruise
without being assessed the surcharge.
Regent Seven Seas will continue to monitor the fuel price situation, and will make adjustments to these fuel surcharges as required.
Any questions or concerns will be handled by the line's reservations line: (800) 285-1835.
